RH Custom Homes is family owned and operated, and run by husband and wife team, Rolf and Susana Haemel. Rolf's European heritage and international construction experience gave Rolf his love of old world craftsmanship and architecture. Rolf has over 26 years experience in the trades (finish and rough carpentry) in both the USA and Canada. His love for homebuilding prompted him to build his own home when he was a very young man, start to finish.

Susana has a long family background in the trade of custom cabinetry, her father trained in the building of custom cabinetry, old world style, for over 40 years. Susana also has had over 20 years experience as a Realtor and is a member of the Metropolitan Board of Realtors.

As a team Rolf and Susana started RH Custom Homes in 1997 by building their first "spec" home in the Lake Country area. The home was very well received and RH Custom Homes continued their business by building for clients.

Quality craftsmanship, excellence, integrity, and customer satisfaction continue to be the core goal for each and every home. RH Custom Homes builds only a few homes each year to ensure quality control of each individual home, giving personalized attention to every client.
